Possibly swapping from O2 to Vodafone to purchase a iPhone 4S !!

I've been with O2 for years and I personally believe the iPhone cannot handle its network.

Whats the Vodafone network like on an iPhone ?

I've registered for email updates and would like one on release day !!

I have had an iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 1 and an iPad 2 all running on Vodafone and will definatly be getting an iPhone 4S. I have not any issues with the network.

Re: Possibly swapping from O2 to Vodafone to purchase a iPhone 4S !!

I've had a 3GS on Vodafone since it came onto the network and the known iPhone antenna issues have definitely magnified any issues with the coverage. I regularly have no service at all on my phone. On occasions where 3G is strong the data speeds are excellent.

With the earlier iPhones having such poor reception it's hard to judge really. I certainly didn't have as many issues with the Blackberry I had before so would tentatively suggest that Vodafone's network is OK.

Hi James

It's great to see that you're looking to move to Vodafone when you buy your iPhone 4S. I'd suggest registering for updates on our site here - How do I register for iPhone 4S updates? and as soon as we have more information we'll be in touch with our iPhone 4S offers.

There's plenty of buzz around the iPhone 4S after last nights announcement, especially around the camera and Siri is causing a bit of a stir!

What are you most looking forward to getting on the new iPhone? Share it with us and you can see other users discussions and debate here.
