Re: Received damaged Iphone4S!! This is not on!!!!!

I can see that the moulded plastic looks warped/bashed from them pictures, but it was always going to get replaced, in fact you could take it direct to Apple as they are likely to have stock and would swap it over in a heartbeat.

I'd say, use it now get it synced up to iCloud and then when they swap it over you could set up the new one in store using Apple's Wi-Fi and be walking out the store in full working order.

But that's just what I would do, that's the beauty of Apple, as long as you purchased from a legitimate reseller they will accept back at source.

Re: Received damaged Iphone4S!! This is not on!!!!!

I must say Vodafone have been very good in swiftly trying to get a replacement. Only inconvenience is that I'm going to have to collect it from the courier depot as I can't be in on Tuesday for delivery as I'm a medical student and have a mandatory teaching session. Credit where credit is deserved. It's bad luck I suppose. I hope all of you are enjoying your new phones.

pashtun,

With the volume of handsets that are being produced and sold itg is inevitable that some willl slip through the quality control net, it just seems in this case you have been unlucky enough to get one. Good news that Vodafone are swapping it for you though!

Re: Received damaged Iphone4S!! This is not on!!!!!

Hi pashtun,

Good to hear that that's been sorted for you.

Don't forget that if you have any issues with the handset you receive on an upgrade, you still get the seven working day exchange option, so if you do receive a faulty one you're automatically covered.

Thanks to everyone who has helped confirm that this is just a one-off as well.

Dave
