I would like to know what every one's models were, so far it seems that all Sat orders for 16GB iPhones have been confirmed, so it's possibly they are sending out batches in relation to capacity?

I ordered 12pm Friday for a 32GB, haven't received a text but I'm not stressing about it as I had the e-mail confirmation and to be fair I can't remember if I even asked for a text...?

Is it a size issue?  most of the comments seem to be about 16GB models.  Has anyone heard about delivery of 64GB version?

originally ha monday 10th as a delivery date, on original text. orer early on friday a 16gb black, no new delivery date text as of yet.

I'm annoyed! Just rang vodafone and Asked about my order. She first says it's gonna be delivered 17th! I asked if it was first come first served she said yes, I explained that I knew of people getting there's Friday who ordered on sat/sun she then said well then yours will be there on Friday. I'm confused as she says 2 different things. Agggr I hate waiting

@redwilson - you need to relax fella, if you don't get it you don't get it, your txt might be on its way for all you know and working its way through in all likeliness a very big system. Don't have a heart attack over it

Mine was a 16GB ordered on Saturday, and I got a text, so you might be right @bullett007! Can anyone who ordered a 16gb on Friday confirm if they got a text

EDIT: It looks like people beat me to it.... could it be a colour thing? I ordered a white one.

My preorder was an upgrade for delivery to store. No text so far. Called CS and was told that the system says "awaiting stock", but she didn't call the store I am supposed to be collecting from and left them a message to let me know if it will be there for collection on Friday. Basically, she told me that the currect status does not mean that it won't be dispatched in time for friday delivery.

Lol some of the comments on here. 

I ordered Friday AM and not heard anything apart from Credit Check was OK. To be honest I think I forgot to tick the text updates so rely on E-mails only. But I think it will be ok. Everything so far suggests First come first served so that is what I expect to happen.

Great to see that you're starting to get your texts about receiving your iPhone 4S on launch day!

Due to the amount of pre-orders we have for the phone we wouldn't be able to send them all in one batch. Also there may be orders still being processed so the texts won't have yet been generated. 

As always we'd suggest keeping an your eye on your e-mails this week to confirm your dispatch.

So we now know, that's to a number of posters, that Vodafone is finally sending out text messages to confirm iPhone 4S pre-orders will arrive on Friday.

For those of us who didn't sign up to text message contact, can a mod confirm we'll get the same info via an email in due course?
