I'm just trying to upgrade to the 4s and I'm getting a 'no plan' message after selecting the phone, please help.

Thanks Dave, I have a horrible feeling that it is beacuse I am still on an 'early upgrade' until tomorrow (official upgrade date is the 8th October) as it will let me select plans on other handsets but not the iphone.
Please clarify, surely soemone can help with under 24 hours to my official upgrade

I have just noticed in the other thread that this won't be available for early upgrade customers.
Little bit disappointed by that and not sure of your logic. Surely existing customers who have been loyal to you for the last nearly two years should be able to take advantage of the offer like new customers.
What are the chances of this changing and us being allowed to pre-order? To be honest, I'd be happy to forfeit the £59 cash back you're offering and I'm looking to increase my monthly commitment to you as well.
I'll be quite annoyed if by the time I'm eligible to upgrade properly there's some sort of stock shortage.

I was in the retail store this morning and there appears to be a problem with the system as the guy in the shope couldn't do the upgrade/pre-order for me.

We're looking into the situation with the early upgrades for you - at the moment the system will only allow standard upgrades though.
With that in mind, soupladel, thanks for letting us know you're having issues too.
Is there a particular model you were each looking for? The range is a pretty good selection of colour and memory.
We'll get back to you as soon as we have any further information.

I'm in the early upgrade window of being able to upgrade online but not over the phone.
I've tried to upgrade online and get exaclty the same problem as described above. The website advises I call for help with any problems which I did, only to be advised by the woman on the phone there was nothing they could do because I was only able to upgrade online or in store next week.
Any update on when this will be fixed? It's absolutely rubbish.

If I select any 24 month plan iPhone 4S, it adds the item to the basket but then doesn't load any applicable tariffs. It kind of makes sense that it doesn't, seeing as on the previous page I have just selected the phone and tariff that I want.
If I select any 18 month tariff I get an actual error:
Sorry, we can't process your order because of a technical problem. We're working hard to fix it. Please call us on 08080 101 256 to get help with your order.
iPhone 4S 16GB Black 24 month £46 a month is what I'm after.

im in the within 190 days but not 70 days boat too! called upgrade line to see what was happening. the woman said i couldnt upgrade until tomorrow yet online i could get anything other than the new iphone. she did say she had reserved me the white 16gb but i wasnt sure if thats true or not can anyone check at all? pls n thanks
will the £59 cash back still b on tomorrow? how much extra do i pay for the early upgrade?

yeah i'm also trying to upgrade to a iphone 4s seems crazy that the first people to take up an iphone contract with vodafone have to wait until standard upgrades but can upgrade on any other phone early.
if you could drop me an email that would be great so i can get it sorted

I'm having the same issue too!
I have the no plan available message, but if I change the contract to 18 months, it says there is a technical error.
I was eligible for early upgrade from 4th October and have been looking forward to the new iPhone
