Very poor signal in house with upgrade iphone 4

I upgraded from blackberry to iphone 4 last friday.

I am getting a very limited service i(constantly dropping to no service) in my house and at best a few bars and people say they can hardly hear me on the phone and i get lots of dropped calls  everywhere else in the house and outside its very hit and miss with regards no service.

I had no issues withmy blackberry in the two years i had it with  vodafone and my husband also has an iphone 3g on 02 and has no issues with signal.

This phone is pretty much useless to me as I spend most of the week at home.

Please could someone tell me if this is a known issue as i think im going to have to send this phone back.

thanks

Mine's a bit like that, but my house is in a bit of a poor area for reception anyway.  What bothers me more is the message that pops up every time the signal drops out.  Is there any way to turn off that notification?

Hi hazeyj,

I understand this must be very frustrating for you, with all of our upgrades you do have a 7 day peace of mind guarantee, so if you wish to exchange for a different handset you are able to. The following information on how to do this can be found here.

Hopefully you are happy with your iPhone however; we offer a fantastic service that gives you full 3G coverage in your home. Take a look at Vodafone Sure Signal for more details.

Please don’t hesitate to ask if there is anything else I can help with.
