Eagerly awaited my delivery today, but when it turned up, opened the box and it was a black phone when i had ordered a white. Some people might think not a big issue but thought I would ring up Vodafone just to see if I could swap it, what a nightmare that was.
Think I ended up speaking to 4 different people, the first (after a long wait) took my details, said he would put me through to returns, ended up speaking to a foreign lady with a very poor line and poor english who eventually stated that she was in billing, got put through to someone else, another long wait, eventually get to speak to someone else, 'cant find your details, you need to speak to someone in business' my comment, I rang business in the first place. Get told I need to put you through to business, another long wait only to get someones vodafone voice mail.
Come on Vodafone how can it take me over an hour, 3 different people followed by an answerphone. All I wanted to ask initially was could I take it to a shop and swap it.
Dont want to be in a situation where, it has to be sent back, then another sent out to be followed by a 'sorry we dont have any stock'.
I have tried to ring back but just get caught up in a queue again, surely you can just send a replacement and collect this one when its delivered or more easily arrange things so I can pop into a local shop and swap it.
Hopefully I will here something back on here as not getting anywhere fast on the phone and meanwhile new phone still in the box :-(

How annoying if you ordered a white phone and a black one turned up!
With regards to arranging an exchange, these can only be actione via our returns department. If you call 191 from your handset or 08700 700 191 from an alternative phone and select option 4, our returns team will be able to take you through the reurns process.
