iPhone 4 - Insurance excess

Hi,

Just want to check how much the excess is to claim for accidental damage?  Managed to drop the phone and the top corner of the screen is damaged.  Hopefully not too much :smileysad:

Re: iPhone 4 - Insurance excess

The excess charges are the first £15 or £25 of any claim depending on which plan your have.

As you have an iphone, it would most likely be £25.00.

Re: iPhone 4 - Insurance excess

Hi

I thought Vodafone is a great network and keep all the promises which they promise while giving a contract.

Inspite i am holding a business contract with vodafone and paying more than 60 pounds a month. I lost my phone in december and i got a new phone as well. I lost it again on 3rd January accidently and i called the insurance team and i was not expecting that kind of behaviour from the staff and i was told that i will be given a call the next day i.e 4 jan but i did not recieve any call.

Today i.e 5 january gave them a call regarding my phone and some one promised me to give me a call on 4th january they just said your claim is under processed and disconnected the phone.

This is seriously not the way my whole family is having more than 8 contracts with vodafone this is just not the way...

kindly help

Hi sahastandon,

It's disappointing to hear of the issue you have had whilst making a claim and we will get these fed back for you.

We aren't able to do anything about the claim itself here, but you appeal the decision if you are not happy with it. You can also visit our site for more information about our Cover Me insurance.

Re: iPhone 4 - Insurance excess

I lost my iphone 4 16GB today and claimed for insurance. They charged me £50 for insurance excess. My friend told that he needed to pay only £25 for excess for his claim. Can somebody make sure the amount they charged me is correct or not?

Looking at the Cover Me page they have four bands of excess charges.

Bands 1-2 £25

Bands 3-4 £50 for the more expensive phones.

I would think that they class the iPhone as either 3-4.
