iPhone 4 - My Vodafone app issues?

I'm new to Vodafone but not iPhones. I have downloaded the "My Vodafone" app onto my iPhone and opened it first time (as it said) using the 3G network rather than wifi. All I get is a message saying it is unable to access my account. I have removed the app and downloaded it once more - still the same error message.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm having problems too, I get an error message saying "My Vodafone cannot be used by Business Users at this time." - I'm not a business user!!

Hi all

happykayaker after you have received your first bill, try the "My Account" app again, if it's still not working, let me know and I'll look into it further.

Phonic have you received your first bill since you took out the connection, or changed a tariff? If not, the app will not work until you have, if you have, let me know and I'll look into this further.

I have an error where it says that it is not available to business users at this time.

I am a non business user since 2 months - i have posted similar topic as below - please reply on that thread.

I've already received an email about my first bill (since the upgrade), and still can't get any account information to show on 'My Vodafone' app.

Hi memo,

The My Vodafone app is currently only available for Consumer customers, and cannot be used if you're on a business account. Can you confirm for me if you are a Consumer or Business customer?

Hello

When I load the app an error pops up - "Account error: Your new price plan and allowance information will be available once you've received your next bill, please come back then.."

I can view my price plan and extras from the account section.

I've deleted the app and reinstalled it (and had wifi turned off throughout), I've rebooted the phone, I've set airplane mode on and off, the SIM card was taken out and put back in.

This is strange because I received a notification about a new bill about a week or so ago.

Hi gerry,

You will need to wait until your first invoice has been paid, once this has been paid the app should then work however you may need to uninstall and reinstall the app once you have paid your first bill.

Can you confirm when you have done this and if you are still having any trouble.

Sorry for the late reply, im on business tariff, i did not choose that for my self when i went to the store to buy the phone. I asked for a monthly normal contract and i do not know why they set it up as a business tariff.

If i want to change my plan from business to monthly as i do need the business tariff anyway. is that possible? If so please instruct me on how to do so.

I used to have the iphone on O2 and its application for the iphone is very useful so i need to use the vodafone application because my account doesnt give me full details on what i have and what is left of my usage so please help me out with this one .

Usually the best option for account specific issues will be to use the Contact Us page which will allow you to deal directly with our email customer service team.

However, as you have already posted on the eForum we have sent you an email (to the same email address that you used to sign up to the eForum with) so that we can make contact directly and help get your query resolved.

Hi I'm having problems with th myvodafone app it keeps saying were sorry but we could not retrieve you account please try again later also I can't check my mins by calling 44555 it says I will recive a text but I never do I'm on iPhone 4 pay monthly it did work but not now please help cheers Matt

I have similar issues, all worked fine when I had the the phone first then I had issues logging on to my account , so I had that reset at which point my App stopped working? I have waited until my next bill but it still does not work?Tried untialling and reinstalling, locations off rtc nothing helps just "unexpected error£ after the loading screen with the white bar...

Can you help?

I'm sorry but I'm unable to advise when this will be made available.

 

Are you able to log in using the web to access your latest usage?
