THE LEFT HAND NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT THE RIGHT HAND IS DOING.

Otherwise the system cracks and falls apart, which is what has happened.

I just wonder how much profit they have lost from this that is going into the deep pockets of the likes of O2.

Ok phoned up got a consignment number this morning and mine is due for delivery today BUT my partner doesn't have a consignment number?????????

Would one of you top mods look into this for us?

Would just like to say that I pre-ordered a 16GB iPhone 4S late on Saturday 8th October.

I've used live chat this morning to be told it is 'awaiting stock allocation'. So no way is it coming today, or even before the start of next week.

So the comments relating to phones that were ordered before Wednesday definitely arriving today, I would say are not true.

I sit in hope that Vodafone get themselves sorted and that mine turns up before Christmas.

Hi. I requested store delivery. But I got a tracking no and Its showing as at the depot bring loaded onto the van... Does that sound right? :s

As it says just rang up to get my tracking number... guy said i was in the queue waiting for the iphones to come into vodafone to be sent on to me...

Now ive got my deposit with orange and its ever so temping to go collect my phone from them today.

If you go have a look ay the iphone4s  on vf website, still says they have it still in stock, so not only are they lying to us loyal customers, they are deceiving new customers too.

"Sure you can order you new iphone today as its instock! You just won't recieve it till next friday"

When did you order? What did you order? and have you called CS to clarify your order today?

ordered 32gb white. ordered wednesday evening and i said i will only order if my phone is available to pick up on friday, he said it 100% would be.
Rang CS and they said my order was very unlikely to arrive today...
I want a refund

I have had the thanks for your order email, but nothing else - does that mean I have been lost in the system?

Cannot find anywhere to check the order status - and I see on here some people have tracking codes for delivery - is mine not arriving today?

Just spoke to a very nice customer service lady who confirmed mine will be delivered between 11:32 and 12:32 and she gave me the tracking code from DPD which confirms what she said:

Your parcel is on the vehicle for delivery, due between 11:32 - 12:32

My advice to all is sit tight and start panicing around 3ish!

I have also only had the first thanks for your order email. According to online chat though the phone has been dispatched and is out for delivery with parcel force. Couldn't give a tracking number as they claimed their systems were struggling under the demand (fair enough I suppose). Time will tell!!

Mines has just been delivered around 10 minutes ago, never got any dispatch email anything other than the order number email!
This shows how little contact vodafone have been making yet the phones have been dispatched!

I have been vary patient with waiting not calling CS or anything just reading forum threads and crossing my fingers, at 10:06 today I finally had my confirmation email followed straight by my dispatch email. Thought I'd check the tracker and to my horror it's only leaving a London warehouse this morning and as I live in Bristol and requested home delivery I'm very much doubting I'll be getting mine today. I'm not 100% happy today is one day off work and looks as tho I'll have to take tommorrow off also, after spending 90 quid on the upgrade I thought I'd of got it on time my work mate who ordered his on Tuesday has his in his hand and didn't pay a pennie. If I don't get mine today CS will be receiving a phone call for compensation.

I wouldn't take tomorrow off, unless it's been requested by Voda, both DPD & ParcelForce don't do Saturday delivery (unless as I said, Voda have paid them extra for it).

From experience they won't, so it's likely going to be Monday.

I can confirm, as I have just had to reorder and pay £9.99 for Royal Mail special delivery for Sat delivery as that is who Vodafone use. Either reorder or wait until Monday

Note to self. Never worth taking a day off work to take delivery of a phone.
