After numerous calls I still haven't been able to activate my phone, I have just received an email from VF with my new mobile number on it and how to set up my account online. I went through to do this but said there was an issue and when I called CS and entered my mobile number it said there is an issue with my number....my boyfriend received his phone about 4hrs after me and got straight through to CS and activated his phone - although he is an existing customer...so annoying!!!!

I got a text message from Vodafone this morning saying that they tried to contact me and failed. Therefore they have held my order at the 'depot' and rescheduled for delivery on Monday. I didn't get receive any contact aboutdespatch or anything else from them since my order was confirmed!
Is it possible to find out where this depot is and collect from there?

Hi there, just to give you guys my experience and hope a menber of voda staff will look into it for i orderd the iphone 4s saturday 8th 12:30pm and was PROMISED delivery today 14th but heard nothing in the way of a dispatch email until just now saying my iphone is on its way, i tracked it via parcel force website and its was collected at 10:16 this morning however ive taken the day off work (my anual leave is important to me) please please voda give me an explanation and clarify what day my phone will be deliverd

Firstly I apologise about starting another thread with similar problems to others on here but I am doing so in the vein hope that a moderator will do something about it.
I have been due an upgrade for some time now but decided to wait for the new I phone and placed my order with the direct upgrades team last Friday (7th) over the phone. Since then the ‘fixed prices’ by Apple have come down and the 18 month contract I originally wanted but couldn’t justify has become a sensible amount; I have managed to resolve this issue separately and have to contact VFCS within 7 days of receiving my new phone to change price plan.
I was told when I ordered the phone that unless there was a problem receiving stock from Apple that I would definitely be getting mine on the 14th; well this was the first lie I have been told as other people that ordered theirs as late as this Wednesday have got theirs today . So no problem with Apple, just Vodafone.
I was told earlier this week by CS that my phone will be here on Friday, so I booked the day off work as 1) was really excited and 2) didn’t want to risk missing delivery as am on 12hr day shifts all next week, then when I rang yesterday chasing a consignment number I was told differently and that mine wouldn’t be arriving until next week (this was after 3 phone calls that lasted 3 hours in total), so I cancelled my day off. I then had a look on here and through others advice decided to use ‘Live-Chat’ and was told that I would definitely be receiving my phone tomorrow and decided I better get the day off after all.
Today I contacted CS twice in the morning to get a consignment number, as I didn’t want to miss the delivery whilst taking kids to school, but they didn’t have my details and only the online team could help, even though I ordered over the phone. I used ‘Live Chat’ again and they said that they couldn’t give me a consignment number but ‘rest assure you will be receiving your phone today’. I phoned the online team (waited an hour and a half for them to answer) and they told me it has only just been dispatched and won’t be with me till Monday!
I sent an email asking somebody to get back to me to resolve this and after getting no joy waited another hour on hold calling CS before being told a ‘Manager’ would call me back ; guess what, they haven’t.
Seriously, what the hell is going on at Vodafone? Why are people that ordered long after me getting their phones, why can’t CS give me straight answers, why was my order classed as ‘online’ when it was done with the direct upgrades over the telephoned why are people on live chat lying to me? This has wasted so much of my time in calls and a day off from work lost, never mind the disappointment of not getting the new phone on the first day when I was one of the first to order.
If a moderator is reading this please can you get in touch with me or get a manager to get in touch with me in an attempt to resolve this matter now.

Received mine but it's not connecting to the VF network, looked through all the gumph that comes with it and can't find anything, do I need to do anything?
I'm a new customer and have received (and inserted) the new microSIM that came with it.

hmmm, not sure which did it, I rebooted the phone and plugged into itunes and it's now connecting to VF.
I'd already sync'd it with itunes earlier so not sure why this time made a difference, either that or just coincidence

Thanks Amy, but that link doesn't work when you don't know your new mobile number or account number- how do you find this out? It says to dial *#100 etc but you can't dial if you have no service!!! Beginning to get v annoyed with this and the lack of information from VF on how to fix this!

Another activation problem...
I'm an existing customer, did all my activation from the iPhone, no iTunes or any other means since is meant to be not necessary. but the sad story is that it doesn't launch.
My old phone's battery decided to die, so i can't even call 191, which means hours of waiting on a normal phone line trying to activate my phone.
i tried to use the microsim activation form, but got no response....
thanks vodafone, for not been able to do a simple activation!
