We're delighted to let you know that all pre-orders placed before 6pm on Wednesday have been dispatched for delivery today. A fair volume of orders placed after that time have been dispatched too - so you should get yours pretty soon.
We're ready to run stock updates like we have for previous launches and will start this from today. We have stock of both the 32GB and 64GB however the 16GB devices are unfortunately out of stock, so if you're ordering one, we'll get it to you as soon as possible.

I moving from O2 to Vodafone. Rang O2 yesturday to get my PAC code, she had a little joke and said your PAC code only lasts for 30 days and I doubt youll get your new phone from Vodafone in 30 days so you should wait. I guess she has some inside information?! LOL
I dont mind if its going to be a few days late, i just want to be informed!
Had a call from O2 this morning trying to keep me, I turned them down again but now im tempted to ring them back and go with O2. Can my Vodafone order be cancelled? Vodafone promissed me today...

Cheers for the update. If they've only been dispatched today then that more or less confirms that I'll not be recieving my phone today. Not too upset to be honest, I realise I'm in a very remote location and I'm sure I'll get it in due course. Thanks again.

I place my order Wednesday at 09:30am and I have not had delivery notice... so when you say the above statement its just not true ... and that my friend’s is why customer services departments get a bad name.

Mine was defo placed on Tuesday morning and I've not had deliver or any confirmation. Further to this, I phoned customer Services and was told that there was no stock for my Order. Surely if this statement is true I should have a tracking number and hopefully a phone out for delivery????
WHat the HELL is going on please???!!!!

This is total fabrication, I just got off the phone with customer service and they said they had not dispatched my iphone today and could not tell me when I could expect to recieve the phone - I ordered on Monday the 10th

When you say '16GB devices are out of stock' is that out of stock as of now, this morning, yesterday, etc.......
Basically it would be useful to know if people placed an order for a 16GB device yesterday or this morning are they going to get their phones?

I pre ordered on Monday evening and I have spoken to the Vodafone Customer Service team everyday until today to try and get hold of my order information, they just said they could not give out any information as they don't know themselves, my idea of a pre-order was to recieve it on the day, it seems as I am not the only one who has not recieved a confirmation email also, Does anyone know what is going to happen? when are they meant to be delivered? are they even in the company? Are they avaliable to go and collect in the store if you have already placed an order?

I ordered mine in Store Tuesday morning, I've had the credit check confirmation but still no confirmation that order is in, what should I do based on your above statement?

This reply does not appear to match what is happening on the ground. I placed my order on Fri 7th Oct and I am unable to obtain any confirmation of when I can expect to receive my phone.
The good news is I have listened to every IVR message in your call centres and have spoken to about 5 teams. Unfortunately none of them are any better than the one before.
The bad news is that your Online Fulfilment team calls are now dropping out so customers are unable to even getting as far as being on hold for 40 minutes now. Extremely poor customer service.

I ordered my new vodaphone contract and new iphone 4s last Friday (7th) afternoon and I've had nothing but problems.
Every time I speak to someone at vodaphone they tell me something different.
I requested my phone to be delivered to a store in London as I am in town today but now they have no clue when mine will be delivered. I just spoke to customer services and basically the admin of putting my order through didn't get completed until Thurs!
Also there was an error that said my order was still waiting to be approved and he just changed it! But I received an email saying it had been approved. I have spoken to vodaphone more than I speak to friends and family this week and it's driving me up the wall.
They've now said I will find out by Monday when I'll get the phone - so they don't even know when I'll get it!
I bet if I phone them again now I'll get a completely different answer!
Vodaphone - Have you run out of stock for pre-orders?
Should I just cancel my order and stick with o2? I am at my wits end!
