ordered friday morning, phone due for delivery in next 45 mins, just got in from work ready and waiting, if yours doesnt get delivered today its because you didnt order it early enough or they had problems with credit check etc. i only got a message this morning saying it would be delivered today, then at 10:30 a message from dpd telling me it would be 14:27-15:27. pretty good really.

I was told at 8am this morning that mine hadn't even been allocated stock - 3-5 days time they said.

I've been and bought one from O2 but now I can't get through to anyone to cancle existing voda order...

Not a happy bunny - I am documenting everything and will be going to watch dog if no one cancels my order...

Very dissapointed in Vodaphone - and I now understand why o2 chose to forgoe pre-orders and avoid the stress

I'm not holding my breath for delivery today all that vodafone have promised is they're being despatched for delivery today not that they are being delivered today mine is in a London warehouse ready to be despatched today so likely it'll be tommorrow if they're doing sat deliveries or Monday if not

Just received my 32gb, ordered online on Monday. I did not get email / sms confirmation of the dispatch or delivery. The last communication from Vodafone was via email to summarise my new upgraded tariff...

... so be patient guys they may turn up unexpectedly.

I'm pretty sure the mod's here have a good clue on what's going on, so have some faith!

I selected to upgraded to the Iphone 4S on Monday but I haven't heard anything since, no confirmation, no delivery information, no idea what's going on !

Just thought I would offer my experience. Placed my pre-order on Sunday for an upgrade to the 16gb black model. Got my order received e-mail but didn't hear anything else since. No text, no more emails, the live chat couldn't help. Then today received my phone at 14:45. Try not to panic, just because Vodafone are not informing you doesn't mean it isn't on its way. I repeat I had no communication from Vodafone apart to say my order was received

Well a DPD van has just been in my street......but not MY house! All hope of a delivery has just evaporated. What was the point

Just my two cents here ...

As an O2 customer of 6 years, I got a call from Vodafone on Monday last (my wife and daughter are on Vodafone) and I agreed to sign up for the IPhone 4S (I have an IPhone 3G 8GB) on a new Vodafone contract.   I was told that I would receive the unit before 1:00pm today.

As it turns out, nothing arrived and over an hour trying to contact customer service over the phone failed with me twice being hung up on.

In the end, I got my wife to ring from her phone and discovered that my order has been placed but is "awaiting stock".   The agent apologised for the delay but asked me to just bear with them.   To their credit, Vodafone have not taken any funds from my account in payment under the new contract.

I'm disappointed - but at least my credit check is passed and the phone is on order.   And I guess I will get it eventually.

To be fair to Vodafone, a "launch" day such as this is always going to get issues like this and there will be disappointments.  Some have at least received their phones which is good.  The agent I eventually spoke to could not get through to the warehouse so it is clear they are inundated down there.

For the moment, I am prepared to wait.   I have confirmed that the 7-day cooling off period where I can cancel my order/contract with Vodafone should I wish to, begins from the day I receive the phone.

Here's hoping that all of these issues will be sorted out quickly and that the fact that there is a weekend in the way, will not delay matters even more!

For anyone that hasn't received ANY information after their "order placed" email and vague text ..... my iPhone just turned up via DPD!

I had no delivery conformation apart from a text earlier in the week saying I would get it today. I had NO email conformation or text conformation of times or who the courier was. But it just arrived

So stay hopeful peeps!!!!!!

I'd say a text earlier in the week saying that your phone would be delivered today is pretty much delivery confirmation.

I'd welcome a vague text message right now I've had absolutely nothing since the initial order email from Monday eve.

This is complete and utter rubbish!!!

I ordered on Friday 7th and have had nothing but trouble since with Vodafone I was promised the phone would be sent for today after been messed about all week trying to find out whats going of with the order. This morning i have a transcript from an online chat stating that it would be definatly out for delivery today. Guess what - RUBBISH!!! to the point where vodafone have offered £50 to  keep me as a customer but still no answers to whats happening with my order.

I'll believe it, when I see it - and I don't see it yet - it's 3.30pm.....

Ordered mine Monday 10th - so according to you, I will see it, but I still have no confirm delivery e-mail, no reply to a query sent yesterday as to confirmation of delivery and was told after an half hour wait on the phone this morning and being transferred 4 times that I "should" get it today. Issue is the uncertainty really - should I be locked in the house on a sunny day for nothing??

Went to O2 and got an upgrade before 9am, no problems at all - yours was (to be) a new contract for a new customer, Vodafone shop was deserted and could have got one there rather than pre-order - a lesson to be learned I'd say....

I live in hope - for now. I too may be delighted when my phone arrives, but more than a bit put out if it doesn't.

But I am nothing if not fair, I hope, so if it comes I will let you all know, (likewise if it don't!)

Just called Parcel Force who have informed me what I thought was the case anyway.....my parcel only left NW London at 1.20pm, they say it's highly unlikey that I will receive my parcel today, unless VF have paid for express 24 hr delivery?

I was expressively tolday today that I woudl receive it by 6pm, I wonder what the chance are!

To add, lots of people are saying they've had nothing since order confirmation and then go on to say they've had a tracking number from chat reps, or a text message. I've not even had any of those! The people I have spoken to on chat have been polite but quite vague in their assistance. I've saved transcripts of a few of them absolutely promising me that my phone will arrive today.

I'm not fussed about the phone being late, big deal- it's a phone. It's a matter of principal of telling people things that can't be promised! If it doesn't turn up, sure, i'll be disappointed but I'll be more disappointed that my transition to Vodafone from O2 may have been a wrong turn!

If it turns up, then I'll still question the fact that no one seems to have been told anything properly, despite not being able to find my order on their system!

So I got mine finally!  Ordered on the 8th. Nothing from them until now.
