Ordered in store on the 17/10, was promised 2-3 days at the most.

When I phoned Vodafone they could not tell me when I would get my order, it could be months!
How can you run a global business and not be able to tell your customers when they will get their deliveries!
Pathetic!!!!

If i don't have the phone within the next week i'm off to Orange and HTC.

JoBen, people will have received handset but the problem is people rarely come back here once their phones have arrived, so it doesn't give a fair picture. If you look through the early pages of this thread though you'll see how many people haven't returned for some time. This is indicative of people receiving their devices.

Hi Tom,

Perhaps you could let me know why I was given a delivery date of October 21st (Friday) or 24th (Monday)at the latest and then, when it did not arrive, I informed that it could be 1 to 2 weeks which was today updated to 2-3 weeks.

By all means listen to the recording of my conversation on October 20th.  It is obvious that I was given an imminent date only because I threatened to leave Vodafone (it's all on the tape) after more than 10 years and now that I have signed up to a new contract, Vodafone just don't give a damn..

Is this how you treat all customers or just those that have been loyal to you?

I'm another person who placed an order because the site was showing that the phone was in stock and would be delivered in 2-4 days.  It's only having subsequently searched here that I've realised that it's not in stock and hasn't been for a while now.

As a result I'm now paying for an increased tariff (chosen purely to get the most cost effective price for the phone and minutes I required) without my new phone...

Anyway, please can you look into my order please and confirm when I'm likely to receive it?
