Hi I upgraded on 13th oct by phone my order number is VFUKMCT00542758 would appreciate some info on when my phone will be delivered.
All of these posts are worrying me a little, could you confirm whether the people who have ordered in October have now received their phones? I ordered 11/11 and will soon be paying the insurance and tariff for the 4S and I am concerned that I will be waiting months for the phone, paying that tariff and insurance but not having the phone itself.

Just had the following on line conversation reagrding my order with Zoe who is a member of customer Services :
Zoe: it's in a pending status as the phone is out of stock
Zoe: and it might take from 1-2 weeks for it to be completed
You: I was told that last week
You: That says its now in stock
You: This also says in stock
Zoe: I just check the orders application and it is out of stock
Zoe: Am really sorry the website says it's in stock
Zoe: but it is out of stock
Zoe: we are waiting for the stock within this week
You: Not only that, the moserator on the forum has updated it to say it's in stock
Zoe: I can tell you that I just checked with the ware house and the phone is out of stock
You: Can I quote you on the forum please?

joke as a new customer not happy how voda have dealt with this, iphone 4s 16gb shows now instock for black and white, so called up as im still waiting for mine on backorder, and they dont have stock, so why show it! oh yeah to make more people sign up to wait for phones you dont have

I want to know when I am getting my phone! I am not going to be treated like a little sheep anymore, give me an expected time now.. I am not happy whatsoever as you can tell. I don't have my phone by the 1st of december then I will be kicking up a fuss on your CS phone number and in the media! this is the height of rudeness and the lack of general curtousy from you Mods on this forum.. you are useless completely shameful! I've ordered other things this week and got it the next day!

I do hope this isn't an indication of things to come. I ordered my 64GB Black 4S on the 9th with a projected 2-3 week delivery... assuming it makes that it will be just days before I go on holiday in the US for 2 weeks and given the reduced battery life on my 2 year old 3GS I really do need that replacement.
I recall problems like this when Vodafone first launched the 3GS and I was lucky that I got mine, as pre-ordered, on launch day... I really do hope I wasn't just lucky the last time.

I just got the exact same email I got 10 days ago with my invoice and saying the phone is out of stock etc.
I hope that's not what you meant by 'checking the order' , because it's wrong, the website has clearly changed to 'In stock' at the beginning of this week.

Can this be right, coming up for 4 weeks this week-end & like many others still no phone & even worse, not much in the way of communication from a communications company VODAFONE!!!??
We have to do all the chasing ourselves & then they say they have no information, please look on forum.. Do that & get the same old story! Try to find anything out on here & they just try & shut you up!!
Was patient enough for 3-weeks, havn't even checked whats going on this week but enough's enough.
You can't tell me that not one person at Vodafone doesn't know if a shipment is due. shipments from over-seas can take a couple of weeks to reach their destination & the company that ships it out notify the reciever before it leaves.
Over a week ago a CS agent at a call centre in Egypt told me she had no idea when I would get mine, but in the same sentence told me it will be really, really soon...yeah right!!
I think Vodafone know exactly whats going on!

I ordered an iPhone white 32gb on Sunday. Order VFUKMCT00592482. I was assured there was stock. Everything completed well. I have recirced a text from VF stating that the phone is out of stock. I called VF different customer service people have said different things about the order. Can you check, please, has stock been allocated, if not when? How long is delivery? Keen to switch providers.

Ordered 16gb black 4s, in stock 2-4 days. Get a text saying out of stock.
Just spoke to an online advisor, its out of stock.
WHY oh WHY is it limited on the stock thread which is updated daily.
So vodafone, What is it? is it OUT OF STOCK OR LIMITED?
PLEASE TELL US, WE ARE LOYAL VODAFONE CUSTOMERS

i dont think these online advisors know themselfs. it seems there is no stock and just wait for deliveries, but still take order which is advertised as in stock. Its just money making for vodafone with no care for their customers.

I have been on the phone this morning with an issue about my upgrade, and was told on the phone that they had an order in now and would be starting to process the orders that they have. Yet on the recent update it says there is no change on the stock?
I realise this is yet another topic about this, but you can't blame a person for being confused.
Which is the most reliable source of information & is there a reason that we're being given false information? Is it down to miscommunication or are Vodafone trying to just please customers?
