Hi, I ordered a 64gb black 4s nearly a month ago. Initially I received regular email updates which was nice. Sadly I have not had an update for a couple of weeks now. Can a mod get me an update on my order please? I understand you are being bombarded with requests like this. Sorry... My order number is o304265781 It might be wise to get the back order fulfilment time of 1-2 weeks changed on the main website. It's been double that for me and I still have no phone. Im currently without a phone as I've upgraded to an Iphone then got the dreaded delayed text. I put a post up yesterday which was prompetly moved to the Iphone delivery thread that nobody has made contact about!

Im really starting to get annoyed with the fact im getting no answers! Not even an estimation time for delivery just that its delayed! When I was told over the phone and online that the phone is in stock!

Can somebody from the Voda team please help! preferably not just fobbing it off into another thread!

I ordered a white 32g iphone 4s  a few days ago, says it is in stock on the website however when i phoned up today and had a webchat with an advisor they advised that all the white and majority of black iphones are currently out of stock! why then does the website continue to say they are in stock? i have paid an early upgrade fee to purchase this phone, not to mention they changed my tarriff immediately, so i have been double had!

why cant Voda get there website up to date and inform their customers correctly. all a ploy to get cash in their pockets so people dont go elsewhere i feel.

please can someone from the forum team provide a sensible update, seems to be the only place that gives helpful advice and info.

Hi Scout, welcome to the forum. Many people in the same boat as you. When did you order your phone? Out of interest I went to a vodaphone shop this afternoon and they told me they had a delivery this morning. So it seems they are restocking shops before fulfilling orders. I just want an estimated delivery date. Don't expect any response on here.

Now shows on the website that all Iphone 4S's bar the 16gb black are all on back order. guess that means we will now be waiting a good couple of weeks!

terrible service from vodafone.

If i had waited for 2 weeks I wount have had to pay any upgrade charge, I wanted the phone before xmas though. I would be highly surprised if I do receive it before xmas now.

Considering I will be getting my new phone after the the date that an early upgrade fee wouldnt apply from I would hope vodafone will be waiving this fee. Im paying for a service that I am unable to use properly.

Hi there, I placed my order online today which was also for a back order iPhone 4S, and after reading the coments above, i am quite concerned. I too paid an early upgrade fee, but could have chosen to wait until the end of next week to go in to store and would not have to pay this fee. But after a chat with an advisor i placed my online order as he told me that stock is the same online as it is instore so i am likely to get it quicker by placing it online. I am now wondering whether it would have been better to wait as the 1-2 week estimate now seems to be an inaccurate estimate according to other posts.

Could one of the moderators please re-assure me that these time scales are correct? Thank you

It's no way 1-2 weeks the Black 64gb has been showing as out of stock since the 3/11/11and the white 64gb since 13/12/11 I ordered over a week ago and said I'd have whatever 64gb comes in first though I'm not holding my breath that I'll get it before Xmas or the new year though other networks seem to have stock and Vodafone none

I've now received (yesterday evening) an email notifying me that my phone order has been despatched. No estimated delivery time though

Has anyone else received this email but still not received their phone? Or am I OK to get my hopes up?

when did you order your phone and what handset was it. i'd be getting my hopes up if i was in your position. sadly i am not. just got the dreaded email - "we are working as hard as possible to get your order processed..."

Up until yesterday i was in the same position as everyone else in this post. I rang voda for the umpteenth time and finally spoke to an honest decent chap this is what i have learnt: Iphone 4s released Iphone 4s sold out in a matter of days Customers then flooded the internet with online orders Whilst the shops were re-stocked your all sat here wanting your phone from the online department Shops have them in stock! Online department doesnt I went to my local voda shop, bearing in mind its 20 miles away, walked out 11 minutes later with 4s in hand, online order cancelled and 5 pound better off with a better contract. If i were you id get down to my local store, if your in n.i. Like me the newtonabbey abbey centre has these in stock!

i have already tried this, they said as i am going for early upgrade, it is only available to do online and they cant assist in the store. where you in the same position, if so i may be willing to try again. maybe you just got one of the very few decent vodafone staff members!!

Upgraded to the iPhone 4s and had the email saying my order was dispatched, however there was no details of who it was being delivered to and no sign of a tracking number either.

I have ordered an upgrade for my HTC Desire 32gb to the new IPhone 4s over 3.5 weeks ago, and still no delivery. What little sense I can get out of Vodafone is " we are working with Apple over supply" , but thank you for the same txt message twice a week, come on Vodafone I work with many suppliers and they all can issue an expected delivery dates............. After over 20 years with Vodafone I feel customer service levels have dropped to an all time low. If I knew it was going to take this long I would have taken up O2 on there offer.
