Hi all I have just checked vodafones latest stock update and they still claim to have 32gb black phones in stock the odd thing is that the info has not been updated since the 14/10/11 when all the others have been updated to show no stock!!!!!!!!! would vodafone like to comment on this??????

Vodafone have now updated there stock checker to show nil stock but there main website is still showing 2-4 days for delivery can vodafone comment on this and would you please update this to show the correct info !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simon can you reply to me, ive been waiting for my questions to be answers its not on.  i ordered my iphone 4s 16gb a few days ago and havnt been contacted since then, ive had to phone them up today to ask whats going on i havnt even recieved an email whether my credit check has been successful and they also froze the money from my bank account not sure if they have actually taken it out. So basically i phoned them up today and asked them whats going on and they said that i have passed my credit check and they said they are waiting for stock to be delivered, first they told me it would take 2-4 days now there telling me to wait 3-4 weeks its pathetic they also gave me the iphone phone number as i am a new customer to vodafone they told me that they are getting new stock tomorrow so im going to see what happens and call back monday if i have not recieved any updates of my purchase i will cancle my contract with vodafone. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!

I agree about the time showing on the order page, being mis-leading. I cancelled the 16gb 4s order and paid an extra £100 for the 32g just to get it now- I even asked on the phone if it was 2-4 days delivery, and they said yes. As soon as I got my confirmation text, immediately got another saying order delayed Waste of extra money now

New contract.... my good experience...

Pre-ordered on 1st pre-order date 7th Oct via web.

Received txt and email to confirm order - which said I would receive txt/email when credit check was done.

Received txt/email Monday 10th October to say credit check OK

Received email/txt to say delivery would be Sat 15th - date I had asked for.

Evening of 14th October - day before delivery. Received txt to say phone had been despatched and delivery would be 0800-1300 Sat 1

Sat 15th 0930 - iPhone 4S white 32gb arrived

Oh, sorry, forgot to mention, this was from Three UK. 2000min, 5000txt and unlimited  data.

I had the exact same problems of poor service when trying to upgrade my data plans to the the iPad 2. In the end I cancelled my 2 data plans and reordered on a new contract. You guessed it!!! I got my new iPad 2

Three only currently do 24 month contracts on iPhone 4S. Cost £35 per month on 'The One Plan' - 'all you can eat data'.

Three are also updating their network to HSPDA+ - with speeds up to 21mb downloads. Highest I've had to date on 4S is 12mb!

Had to call their customer service once when I ported my number - 30seconds to answer and sorted within another minute.

On a serious note, I have noticed the stock update forum has changed from 9am to 8am. I wonder if they're expecting...

Also, I wonder if the delivery is going to be to all Vodafone stores, thinking of visiting my local tomorrow. Want my iPhone before Christmas.

My girlfriend phoned up friday to upgrade her phone and spoke to one of the advisers and he's currently waiting for a iphone 4s also, he said they expecting a delivery monday...so never know i may get my 4s also...

At least I now know my order wasn't lost in the system and he could give me a rough idea of delivery.

I'll wait a week and hope they keep their word.

Thanks for the info Paul! I ordered on 14th October I'm on day 9 of my wait today (I was told it would be 2-4 days). Based on your 8-9 days for dispatch I should hopefully be seeing my phone soon - fingers crossed! 

How do you get on live chat? I've been hanging around on the new phone section but nothing! Thanks!

Clare I always go to the iPhone section of the online store and click on one of the options as if you were about to buy one. They soon show up

I recently upgraded to the iphone 4s still not received my phone although I was told 2-3 days I called customer services and they said they are waiting on stock.

When will you be receiving you stock of iphone 4s's?

Seems to me like you don't know when you are getting them in stock hence why everyone is being told different delivery times..If you know when you are getting the phone in stock you should be telling customers so we know when we can be receiving our iphone 4s as we are paying for a phone we have not yet received?

same as above!! am starting to get really peed off with vodafone now!! ive been with them for 11 years and always upgraded .... what is more annoying is i have had a email to accept my order but not one single one to apoligise for the delay or explain whats happening.
