Re: iPhone 4s no signal

You need to activate your micro sim card. You have to transfer your number from your Standard SIM-Card to the Micro-SIM Card.

Go to > Your Vodafone Account > My Settings > Activate New SIM

Type the long number of your micro sim card and get it activated. It should take 15-30 Minutes (max. 24Hours).

Re: iPhone 4s no signal

Thank you so much! Saved me a trip of going to a vodafone shop. I got signal with in a few minutes of doing that. Vodafone hadn't made it clear anywhere that I had to do that.

Re: iPhone 4s no signal

Is there any way of checking that I have activated the micro sim correctly?  I lost signal from my previous sim about 6hrs ago, but my 4S micro sim hasn't activated yet.  Very disappointed and annoyed after 'upgrading' that it's not working!

Re: iPhone 4s no signal

Transferring a number from one sim to another can take up to 24 hours to complete so I'm afraid you will just have to wait. This is why I would always advise people to go into a Vodafone shop to do this rather than activate online. A shop activated sim always seems to work quicker than one activated remotely. But that is just my experience - not exactly proof positive.
