As the number of posts requesting details as to how /when /where and who to contact to unlock an iPhone increase and the replies still seem a bit hazy as to the exact qualifications needed to have a phone unlocked, could not one of the Mods create a sticky of Vodafone's policy regarding unlocking iPhones that are locked to Vodafone's network?

If we can land on Mars I am sure it is not beyond the wit on man to clarify Vodafone's unlocking policy for anyone with an iPhone locked to Vodafone.

Hopefully a Mod will clarify, but I think the policy is now that unlocking can be done on the phone at any stage, for PAYG its after 1 year or its £19.99.

Thanks for posting. I can confirm that we can unlock any iPhone if requested to. This will be free of charge unless it was purchased on PAYG within 12 months, in which case it will be £19.99.

I'll need to check whether this can be made into a sticky or not, however I trust that answers your query .
