question about Iphone and SIM Contract

Hi,

My contract with vodafone is due to upgrade few days ago.

I would like to buy an Iphone 4 in White color, which might be released in few months time.

If I just upgrade my price plan(just normal one, NOT Iphone 4 Deal) now while waiting for that version come out, Will I be able to ask Vodafone to send me Micro SIM to use with Iphone 4?

If you are renewing a SIM only contract, you will be not have any problem upgrading your price plan. You would be unable to upgrade to a white iphone if the phone is not yet in stock.

As soon as you have your new phone, micro SIMs are available from Vodafone stores.

does it mean I will have to purchase Micro Sim and transfer my existing number to that micro Sim?

I am concerned about your first post.
If you are waiting for iPhone 4 White, need to wait may be one month, while you are waiting for white colour iphone 4 you can keep your contract running or you can change to Sim only Monthly plan (1 month term) so you are eligible to upgrade any time, if you moved to 1 year sim only plan you will not be able to upgrade when iPhone 4 white come to market.

Apple introduced very simple software (I -tunes ) that will automatically deduct your new phone when you connect in to i-Tunes and prompt do you want to transfer all (pictures, songs & contacts ,etc,,,) it doesn`t really matter new sim , old sim or micro sim.
