iPhone 4 and 4S

Hi

I have a 24month contract with an htc wildfire, i have just bought an iphone 4 and want to move my contract over to the new phone.

some people are telling me i need to pay more than the £15 a  month i pay now because i will be on an iphone plan, and some say thats rubbish, i can go into a vodafone shop and they will transfer it over to my iphone for free.

Can anyone shed any light on this  please?

You can get a replacement sim/microsim for free, however if you want the full benefits of an iphone plan you'd be paying more. If you have data inclusive with your wildfire plan then I wouldn't change, just get the microsim and your number transferred to it

i am paying £15 a month thats for 300mins 500gb unlimeted txts.
so i can just go and get all this transfered to a microsim and use that in my iphone with no charge ?

oh thats great news, as i phoned vodafone earlier and a man tryed to get me to pay £25 a month for the same contract, he said if i dont pay the extra i couldnt use my new iphone on the same contract.
so obviously he is incorrect then?

He is. The only real benefit to having an iphone tariff is the 1gb BT OpenZone wi-fi, which lets be honest isnt worth an additional £10 to your tariff. Your iphone will still work on a regular tariff
