Your Vodafone shop rep could not help me today so suggested I seek help from experts. Bought iphone at w/end and can't get access to my emails. My email account is with talktalk and we have wifi at home. We have spent hours at w/end searching web for solution..have tried to put O2 in outgoing mail server etc etc. PLEASE HELP! THANKS.

Have you tried the walkthrough on the TalkTalk website?
If it still doesn't work then it's worth narrowing down if it's a problem with the iPhone itself or the email account. Worth trying to set up the same email account on a desktop (e.g. within Outlook) to see if it works successfully. This can go some way to narrowing down if it's a problem at TalkTalk's end
If that fails what error message do you get on the phone while attempting to send emails?

I tried this but Setp 12 says thefollowing:
Select the smtp server for your iPhone network provider.
Note: If your provider is not in the list you will need to add it. To find out how to do this, contact your iPhone network provider.
Vodafone dont seem to have a SMTP server like other providers.
