I have upgraded to the Iphone4 and after filling in the sim activation form online to keep my same number, it wouldn't process. So i then phoned vodafone to to start the activation, who said it could take up to 24 hours, and that when my old phone is no longer displaying the vodafone logo, the iphone will be activated. The lady at vodafone told me to turn on the iphone every couple of hours to see if it has worked. I waited 24hours but it didn't work, so i phoned vodafone again who said that it is showing up as activated, even though i can still use my old phone/sim. I was then instructed to reset the iphone turn off my old phone and wait a couple of hours and try the phone again. I have done this but it still hasn't worked, and when i turned on my old phone to see if the logo had gone, i had several configuration texts from vodafone. Can anyone help me?????

I must admit that it is strange to see that the new SIM has not activated after 24 hours however, you don't need to worry, if this is still not activated, please reply to the email which I will send you shortly with your details and I will get one of our team to check all of the account and the setup on the network for you.

My old handset works with my old number they told me the contract is here, I have no service on my new iphone, they told me I have to visit a vodafone shop within 7 days, Iv had the phone a few days already I sadly couldn't get to a shop today and I'm working all next week 12 hour shifts, surly it can't be to hard for them to move the contract + number to the correct phone?

been over 24 hours, and have tried everything i can to get it working. it just says 'no service' in the top left corner of my screen. i got the 4s yesterday afternoon and ever since then i just cannot get it to work. please help. many thanks.

Micro sim activation is best handle in the VF store, they will activate it for and check to your account to make sure everything is ok.
No waiting, no hassle and your phone service should be up and ready to go with 10 mins.
There are security issues which maybe preventing your sim from activating, that is why going to the store is best.
