Hi, I'm using my US iPhone 5S and I'd like to know if it's compatible with Vodafone Red 4G. I see Vodafone uses both 800MHz and 2.6GHz. The US iPhone has the following LTE support:

(2100 MHz)(1900 MHz)(1800 MHz)(AWS)(850 MHz)(900 MHz) 13 (700c MHz) 17 (700b MHz) 19 (800 MHz) 20 (800 DD) 25 (1900 MHz)

So am I able to use my phone on the 4G network on just the 800MHz spectrum or is there a requirement to have both?

Thanks

It can be used on just the 800MHz, but you will be in a lottery as to what areas use 800 and what use 2600.

(800 has a further reach, so will probably be in more rural zones, where 2600 shorter reach but higher capacity, so idea for city centres and such)

You may want to check the 3G and 2G frequencies too, to make sure you will have a signal even if 4G isn't available to you.

I believe all sites will be 800mhz with the high usage areas 2600mhz  as well so 800 only should be fine most of the time!
