Unable to make or receive calls

Hello, I have an iphone 5s and am unable to make or recieve calls. When I make a call it beeps and says call failed. Incoming calls are going to voice mail. It does work sometimes but unable to call vodafone at present. Signal is ok, does seem quite eratic. My other work vodafone phone works fine.

Does this happen everywhere.

It could be your sim is failing or your iPhone needs resetting.

On the iPhone hold down the Sleep/Wake Button and Home button together until the Apple Logo shows. Then On seeing this Apple Logo release both buttons ,and the iPhone will reset , which has been known to clear most glitches.

Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings.

Plz try ure Sim in another phone as a process of elimination 2 rule out the phone or sim that may be at fault.

If the sim does not work then either call vidaphone to request a replacement or pop into a Vodaphone HighStreet store where they'll move your number and tariff to a new one for you.

If these fail then if you have an  store local make an appointment via https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/ so they can run a diagnostic. If it's faulty they typically swap it out in house for you.

Hi,

 I have tried a soft reboot, network reset and removing the sim. 

 Unable to try sim in another phone as its a nano sim.

 I live in GU32 area,but not just aproblem at home. my other phone and my wifes vodafone are working ok.

 It will work sometimes but mosly comes up with call failed message while showing good signal.

You really need to try your SIM in another phone, so you can work out if the issue lies with the SIM or the handset.

 

The best way to do this would be to visit your local Vodafone store.

 

If you’re unable to do this, you can still order a new SIM by speaking to our Live help team.
