iPhone 5 repair

Hi

I sent my iPhone off for repair as it wouldn't turn on and it looks like it's a battery fault.  I've checked the tracker and it's been "In Repair" for a week now.  I was told i'd have the handset back within 10 days but I can't see it's been repaired and I have no idea whether or not it is repairable.  I have looked it up on my iCloud account as I had to delete the handset from here when I sent it off with the guy in the store.  However, it's still not been erased as the device hasn't been turned on, which makes me think it's not even "in repair" yet!  How can I get a more accurate update on what's happening with it?  Does the repair centre have a contact number?  I'm going on holiday next week and I really need it back before then!

Thanks
