who is my warranty with?

if i have an apple 5s - that i bought from a vodafone store in march this year and i am unhappy that 1 the screen is not scrolling very well and 2 - the charger wire is split - do i have to see apple or vodafone - my nearest apple store is 1hr 30 mins away and my nearest vodafone is 45mins away so an obvious preference!

You need to go to Apple as that who you got the phone from.

The fastest way to resolve the problem is to make an appointment at an Apple store as although you bought the phone from Vodafone it is still under warranty and they should replace it for you on the spot.

If you use the Vodafone repair service it entails sending the phone away for repair and that is usually a 10 day mimimum turnaround.
