Poor or no signal on iphone6

Just upgraded to the iphone6 from the 5, staying with Vodafone. Signal in my house is shocking, 1 bar or no signal at all. Never had 'no signal' on the 5? Phoned customer services and was advised to switch off 4g which I have done but still experiencing the same issues. My last call to cs was cut short as my signal went. Wondering whether to cancel contract and go with a different network. Very frustrating as I have always been happy on Vodafone. Any suggestions?

I spoke to someone on ur cs line and they said there is mast maintenance in my area until 2pm tomor?
