iPhone 6 no service

Hi, I revieved my new iPhone 6 on Tuesday (not an upgrade, a brand new contract) but I didn't get around to turning it on until Friday.
However from turning it on, and turning it on and off a few times since, it has never had a signal. I have logged into my vodafone and it says there are no numbers under my account.
There was also no literature with the phone. Just the iPhone in the parcel.

Hi it sounds like the number is still in a reserved state. If you go online chat or speak to customer care they will activate it for you so you can start using it in a few hours and your online account should then automatically update in 24 hours. Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply, I've tried online help to no avail but I shall call them in the morning, thanks again!

The sim needs to be activated - they are sent out unactivated as a security precaution.

 

Either call customer services or use Live Chat on the Vodafone website
