right, here is the definitive guide to get pc sync software for ku990i,
go to this page,
lg support
download the "PCSynch software for windows"
run the app, go to "customer support" at the top, then down to "application, manual & usb driver download" enter your IMEI number and click the box to the right, now all the stuff you need will be underneath.
Hope this helps people.

ps, it will put your stuff in your c: drive in a folder called "KU990IGO"

A friend found a copy of pc suite2 for me after weeks of confusion. It has been installed and is working perfectly with my viewty ku990iG - Vodaphone - windows xp.

I have no internet connection in my abode and found it impossible to get pc suite through my local library as many sites are barred. If any one can tell me how to upload the pc suite file to the internet so that anyone can upload it -even from a library- I will happily do so.

I will be unlocking my phone and never using vodaphone again. The lack of interest from vodaphone is exactly what is wrong with modern life. They pretend to care about their customers and pay lip service to customer care but the reality is that they could not give a proverbial toss -the same applies for lg.
My local vodaphone store -Argyle Street Glasgow- didn't know or care what I was talking about: "don't get a disk wae that mate" was the well researched reply from the spotty, pallid, cockrel haired, gum chewing, troglodyte behind the counter. Sound bitter, I am. Sick of being ###### over.
As for LG - I couldn't even get to speak to a human.

Raise your game, supply the software or ###### off.

Any vodaphone staff who have done their very best to help their customers are excluded from this reply, your help is appreciated.

i totally agree with you mate the way to get the software in my post requires you to download a program run the program and then put in your phone details and it will automatically download the software to your computer, so if you have no internet connection then you still wouldn't be able to get it at a library cos you can't run any programs, why they don't just let you download the pc suite and drivers you need without running the app is just beyond me, and every other phone i have ever bought that could connect to a pc came with a disc so why not this phone? it is beyond a joke, and the way the vodafone people have no clue what it took me a day to figure out is ludicrous. vodafone hang your head in shame.

Hi everyone

Huge Thanks to Dave Young for posting the below, as this give you all the drivers you need for USB connection and the infamous PC suite version 2. After much heart ache searching for this on several internet sites, this down load is from the LG site and works with the KU990i !! Yippee.

In addition to Dave's directions below, I would add the following:

Once all the files have been downloaded - (I did both the USB and PC Synch as bluetooth wasn't working or USB connection) I then did the following

1) Went into c:folder KU990IGO"" and executed the application files to install PC suite, Dix and modem onto my Vista laptop.
2) After installation, found that PC updated drivers for PC to work.
3) PC Suite was working ie I could see the software, and able to connect with Blue tooth but not USB.
4) Did the famous reboot of computer to see if USB would connect, found that drivers installed when rebooted and connection worked.

Although it is very frustrating that Vodafone clearly don't have a clue where the software is or how to install it onto your PC, I can happily confirm that if you follow the link below and have Vista then you will get PC Suite Version 2 which does work on Viewty.

Good luck everybody.

PS Vodafone - Next time for the goodwill of your customers, I suggest you provide the correct installation procedures within your user guide, or alternatively give us the CD which would have saved a lot of inconvenience for us all!
