Android 9/Pie

Just received the Pie update for my Huawei P20. Anything soecial I should look out for?

I didn't receive any security updates since Feb 2018, let alone One UI. Vodafone blames Samsung. And Samsung blames Vodafone. Waste of time both

Yes! My huawei p20 pro was updated to pie on 15th January same day I had vF broadband fitted..

@liopik Samsung have started to roll out Android Pie worldwide. It's a staggered release and as soon as the UK version is available, once Vodafone has tested it on our devices we'll start rolling this out as soon as we can. Joe

I am talking about security updates. I didn't receive them for nearly a year!

Security updates for me are my primary needs and then software updates follow that as a secondary need.

I'm using a Note 9 bought directly from Samsung and I'm on the December 2019 Security update.

Can you try downloading the security update separately via Settings > Biometrics and Security > Security Update.

In regards to sending out updates its Vodafone that asks Samsung to hold fire to test them for their branded phones before pushing updates out.

This can sometimes delay updates for branded phones but on the flip side I've also known for updates to hit branded phones before unbranded phones !

I tried manually, but it says that there are no updates for my S8. But other people do get security updates. In my case both Vodafone and Samsung don't care. Shame.

Update > Downloaded the Samsung One Ui this morning on my Samsung Note 9.

So far so good

I have S8. And I bought it from mobikes.co.uk with Vodafone contact.
