Samsung One Ui is still in Beta for my choice of phones @SimonWilding but the new Ui , dark mode and a faster transitions toggle all interest me.

I could go into developer options and fasten up the transitions there I suppose :Winking_smiley:

What's the new Ui like on your phone now ?

Also keeping an eye out on battery output once your phone has settled down.

How is the font and how icons are shown in the status bar ? Any changes ?

I only installed it last night so still playing with it. Of course Huawei put their own EMUI software over the top of Android so it's not pure.

I also use a custom launcher with customised icons.

I've noticed the font has changed and the icico in the pull down menu are now light blue on white.

I've noticed the time management system so it'll be interesting to see how much time I spend on this phone.

I guess I should do a hard reset after the update but I really can't be ##~##.

I love working my way around full new firmwares.

Personally I only Factory Reset if the phone is noticeably glitchy after a few days of letting the phone index and settle.

Yes i noticed you use the Nova launcher.

I have Nova Prime on my Samsung Note 9 but its dormant right now as I'm using the stock launcher Samsung Experience instead.

As for being able to see how long I've been on the phone i think i may not to actually want to know that stat !    :Winking_smiley:

Well the floating navigation dock is a total waste of time.... That lasted all of 5 minutes!

I love how the standard p20 has received a pie update before the p20 Pro! Hopefully we will receive it in the next few days

Have you manually checked if there is an update available? Also was your phone provided by vodafone or was it SIM free, as I'm assuming that my update was pushed out by VF.....?
