Android

Data usage symbol

How can I get rid of the "Data usage warning" triangle at the top of the screen, or the message in a bar across the screen on switching on.  I've gone into Settings then Data usage but there doesn't seem to be a way to switch it off - I'm not even sure how it got to come on, it only happened recently.

Hi @Susan38

As far as I'm aware there are a couple of ways to have warnings on Data usage.

On Android phones a person can usually set a warning slider level and data refresh date. There may also be relevant preference settings in the phone.

Which phone make and model are you currently using ?

In your online MyVodafone a person can set a cap on the newer tariffs.

If you pull the notification blind down, does the warning expand there?  If so, tap on it and it should take you to the source - and you should find the way to adjust the level there.   If it's not the system data monitor but a 3rd party app, as well as a level setting, look for a "persistent notification" tick-box.  I had something similar that bugged me for months until I found that!
