A couple of days ago a few grey ‘T’s appeared along the bottom of the screen on my Vodaphone Smart Ultra 6 phone and I’m wondering what they are. Hopefully they can be seen on the attached pic.

@bolo I think what @BandOfBrothers said is correct, it does look like screen burn from the image you've sent.

I'd also recommend taking it to a Vodafone store for one of our specialist to have a look at it. and if necessary get it sent of for repair. You can find your nearest store here.

You can copy contacts between your SIM and phone here.

Alternately you can copy your contacts to your Google account.

Both those options should prevent you from losing your contacts in the event of your phone being replaced.

Hope this helps :Smiling:

I assume you have a Google account, even if you don't use Gmail?   If so, make sure the contact type is Google and they should sync.  You may need to create a dummy contact to set this off initially.  You can check that it happens by viewing your contacts via Google on a PC.   If they're there, they'll re-sync next time you sign the phone in.

If this doesn't work, or you don't want to use Google, open the Contacts app and look at the menu.  There should be an Export option (locations vary and it may be on a sub-menu).   This should produce a vCard file that you can re-import.   There should also be an option to export to an sd card if you have one, but I'd also back it up to a cloud acccount.  (Don't leave it on the device itself as it'll be lost in the reset process).

Was there any damage to the phone externally? Since that does not look like a software issue does it? Backup the phone and reset it incase it turns out to be a sw issue.
