Help Wanted For Security Updates

I bought a Samsung S9 pay as you go phone in the Vodafone winter sale for £330 with a £10 top up in January.

Unboxed it was already installed with android 9 (Pie) but so far i've only received the  November security update.

Will I get the December and January security updates?

A freind of mine  who also owns a S9 bought sim free has recived  both the December and January security  updates

Is your friend with us at Vodafone too or a different provider?
