Huawei P20: No wifi calling after software update.

I have just been prompted to update software on my Huawei P20 which I did. So current version is "Vodafone settings and apps 9.0.0.197(C432E7R1P11)" and now my wifi calling is not working and I can no longer find the setting to enable it.

Anyone else have this issue?

If I do a full  phone "Reset", will it install the original software that the phone was delivered with or will it retain the current version?

Hey @PiloTT, this can sometimes happen after an update according to some of the posts I’ve seen on the Huawei forum.

Try switching on your phone without a SIM card in it. Power it off, replace the SIM card and then power it back on.

Also you could try disabling and re-enabling W-Fi calling by logging into My Vodafone. Just reboot your phone when you make any changes.

If this doesn't work then you may need to back up your phone, and restore it to the factory settings, however that's a bit of a last measure. It won’t put the firmware back to the older version though.
