Hi @jmoon
Firmware updates are typically sent out in batches / waves to stop the servers from being overwhelmed.
This is usually controlled by build number and serial number.
Vodafone UK themselves will not comment on firmware timeframes for the reasons found in the Firmware Statement.
Tip > When you do get the update in your Software Update Section in the phone ensure there's enough internal storage available , your on over 50% battery, close down all your open apps to free up Ram, and on wifi to protect your Mobile data allowance and have created your back ups.

Sound advice from @BandOfBrothers. To that, I'd add: plug your charger in before starting. Firmware updates can be quite power-intensive and there's no battery-state indication during the process.
