Hi. can you tell me if Vodafone are intending to sell the new Nokia 8 on contract soon?

I've not seen too many Nokias being offered tbh recently. 

Places like Carphone warehouse may offer it perhaps.

Strangely enough you can get the Nokia 6 or 8 on contract from Carphonewarehouse on a Vodaphone contract, but you can't get it from Vodafone direct.

So how does that work then?

And who sends you the phone?

I know, I saw and thought the same. I get a good discount with Vodafone through my work so don't want to change suppliers.

Doesn't look like it will be anytime soon before they supply direct...

Carphone warehouse supply the phone and essentially you become their customer with Vodafone supplying the connection to the network. They can sometimes offer different contract tariffs too. 

As mentioned discounts such as Employers Discount isn't available if not going through direct with Vodafone. 

Carphone warehouse will have a different business strategy and draw from a different supply of phones I assume. They specialise in offering unlocked phones that are married up with a SIM card.

Thanks for that BoB. I too get decent discounts from Vodafone so may have to think about biting the bullet.

Oddly enough looking at the spec. the Vodafone Smart V8 looks remarkably similar to the new Nokia!

I've just been told that Vodafone are waiting for Nokia to confirm a price structure for them and then the phone will be available, details should be available next week.
