Oreo on Samsung S7

4: Newbie

I haven't seen a messages for a while regarding Oreo for the Samsung S7.

My phone keeps pestering me to upgrade, but so far I have resisted as I see previous there were lots of problems.

Has the problems been ironed out? Anyone taken the plunge recently? Or should I just not update.

Any input would be greatly received.

Hi @djs1970

I like Oreo on my Samsung Galaxy s8 phone which was on Nougat.

What i'd suggest is to look at what Oreo brings to the table on your phone and see if it's worth the upgrade for your uses.

If your phones stable then it may be an idea to remain on what your on if it does not bring anything or much new to your wants and needs.

Also ensure your phone has enough internal storage for the update.

For some they find it beneficial to factory reset after the update too after creating a back up.
