Peronsal Hotspot not showing?

Hi, 

Tethering works on my device but when using as a hotspot it cannot be found on other devices. I have a saumsung S9. I have tried resetting network settings.

Can any other device latch onto your phone using it's Hotspot function i.e have you tried a few devices ?

It might be a preference settings issue with the devices your using while trying to find your phones hotspot. 

Try turning the feature Off , reboot your phone by turning the phone Off and On and then turn the feature back On. 

Check through your phones settings preferences to ensure your allowing your phone to be 'seen' to other devices. 

Pull down your notification shade from the top and long press on Mobile Hotspot. 

Make sure everything is toggled on. 

Then press the 3 little dots in the top Rh Corner. 

And look at the Allowed Devices part. 

To add > Sometimes when people are having issues with using their phone as a Hotspot this can mean the person's Vodafone Account needs it properly activating which customer services on 191 or Live Chat can do @Scott8155

I've tried those things already but I will give customer services a try and see how it goes.
