Phone does not prompt me for NUC

Hello,

I am a proud owner of a Samsung A300FU - a spare phone that I used with my Vodafone Pay Monthly number before my current handset. I requested a NUC code so I could unlock my phone. My Uncle needed to borrow a spare phone.

I received the NUC code after about a week, but was not asked for it when I switched the phone on. I have restarted the device four times to no avail. I do not know what to do now and need advice, please.

P.S. I have checked that I have the correct IMEI twice.

Many thanks,
Alice

Are you inserting another network's SIM card (not a Vodafone sim) that's activated ie working and connects to it's network to make calls and mobile data etc?

Yes. Used an EE sim. Checked in store last week and it was active.

Shame I don't have a spare nano sim at hand :Sad_face:

Ok cool. :;

So you'll need a nano SIM from another mobile phone network that's activated to make the prompt appear on the phone to be able to use the Nuc.

I will grab another SIM today. Will let you know how I get on. Thanks.
