Hi Guys
I've just got a Vodafone VFD 200 unlocked from the Vodafone network, it's for my father.
He's 85 years old. He is transferring a Lycamobile sim into the VFD 200 mobile.
The issue is that it's not showing the sim mobile number, it's showing 4400000000000 as the number.
Not great, any help appreciated.
(aside I gave Vodafone my mobile number to get the VFD unlock code / number, but that shouldn't effect things, I think)

Your Father is going to need to speak to Lyca about this @pk46 , as he is a Lyca mobile customer and not using a Vodafone SIM, they will need to look into the problem.

It's a Vodafone phone, so might be settings and stuff.

I'm not aware of any settings in the VFD 200, or any other phone that would prevent you from seeing your own number @pk46. Your father should be able to view his number by dialing *132 followed by # or dial 97# from his phone. If he's still getting the same information when doing this, I'd suggest following @AnnS's advice and contact Lycamobile directly about this.

Thanks Mark
I chatted with Lycamobile yesterday, they suggested *132#, that works, but when he rings other numbers mobile, landline it comes up 'no number'. So everything works, except the number isn't being displayed on the receivers display.

I think there is a setting that covers this. Go into Call Settings and look for one that covers Sender ID (I forget the exact label). Make sure it's on (I think the default is "set by network")
Normally, you wouldn't need to, but I'm assuming this is a pre-owned device as Vodafone no longer sells it and the previous owner may have changed the setting.
You could also try a factory reset, but be careful. If the unlock was unofficial, resetting can mess things up royally.

On my Moto G8, which uses the Google phone app, it's under Calling Accounts>[Vodafone] ie network>Additional Settings
