Why are you removing a number that can help people get their Wi-Fi calling sorted because online chat and in store are useless and don't deserve a job that a monkey could do, your expecting people to ring the 0870 number so it costs them £££££ but I've added the alternative which is free. Are you not supposed to help customers not make it harder.

Had to take my S9+ into shop to get the WiFi calling installed but it was a success & working within 30 mins. Had to do a factory reset to it today (obscure messeages regarding Screen Analysis not working which led to photograph not automatically switching from landscape to portrait and vica versa). No Wifi calling after factory reset so telephoned as per all other instructions (191, Wifi Calling ) and told that I had to wait upto 24hrs for settings to come through. If it can be arranged through the shop in 20 -30 mins, why cant they do the same when you speak to them direct?
N.B. The guy at the other end of the phone had to dissappear for 10 mins to find out what to do so all the so called specialists dont have a clue as to what theyre actually doing!
@Brig We'll be happy to help get the Wi-Fi Calling feature added to your services for you. Please send us your details following the instructions I've included in a private message to you and we'll look into why this has failed previously too.
@paulus725 Since raising this issue with Wi-Fi Calling post-factory reset, have you managed to get the feature enabled again?
Hi, I just left a post in a 6 month old thread about my S7 and how to get WiFi calling on a NON Vodafone branded device - there was an on / off setting in the phone book menu settings in Android 7 which just worked for me.
This option has now disappeared after an Android update to Android 8 so now I cannot find a way of switching WiFI calling on in the Androd 8 software on an S7.
I realise this thread is about S9 handsets (which are presumably running Android 8) and it seems to be about Vodafone branded devices (mine was originally EE which I had unlocked - and it doesn't seem to have any EE software overlay on it) so DOES ANYONE KNOW IF WIFI CALLING CAN BE ENABLED IN ANDROID 8 APART FROM A SPECIAL VODAFONE SOFTWARE UPDATE (which is clearly no use to me).

Positality on page 2 posted a response saying:
So, if you want WiFi Calling on your Note 8: call 191, tell the robot "WiFi Calling" and ask the support guy or girl to send a configuration to "update the provisioning" on your handset.
I did this today and within 5 minutes of ending the call the phone had the WiFi calling option back and it worked - this might not be the solution for everyone but it worked for me.
So thanks to Positality and Vodafone support for understanding and doing the business in less than 5 minutes.
My god - what a drama!
Ive just received the new S9, got it set up and no WiFi calling.... spoke to online help which was very unhelpful and so gave up. Went into store - they looked at my phone, confirmed WiFi was turned on and said happy calling. Still not working. Went back into another store and was told that a new Samsung update had WIPED THE WIFI CALLING ICON and there was no option to use it. ARRRRGH!!!!
I searched online in desperation and found this post - thank god! I followed the recommendations, and hey presto - I now have WiFi calling. However, I was told my account had not even been actived for WiFi to start with... what the hell are they doing!?!?
Vodafone staff are hopeless - except for the technical department in India. Good luck everyone....
