Hi @Samdy

Ok so that's just the own phones data limit settings @Samdy

You can usually turn that off or reset the limit to 10gb if you wish.

It's designed as a mobile data monitor to help a person see how much data they are using and to help stop them going over their tariff allowance.

Your tariff via the myvodafone is correct.

It's a non user removable cover @Samdy

If you did then it may damage it and your 24 month manufacturing warranty would be voided.

As far as I'm aware its glued into place.

Thanks BandofBrothers.

Problem is I just upgraded after paying off my old contract and upgraded to SIM only - from 4gb old contract to 10gb on new. But my phone still says I have 4gb?

I got in touch with Vodafone help centre and they said remove cover - take out SIM - wait a few minutes - then put SIM back in and start up phone and the upgrade will show.

So, if I can't remove the cover I am stuck with phone saying 4gb only available?

All the changes from an upgrade is carried out on your account so there is no need to remove the sim card.

The sim card isn't inside hidden underneath the cover.

Its in a sim slot that is usually ejected by using a sim tray removal pin tool that comes with the phone.

Look along the edge of the phone and you should see the little pin hole and the outline of the tray in the slot.

The upgrade to the new tariff may still be processing so try a soft reboot by turning the phone Off and On.

The new tariff may show after midnight or tomorrow.

Thanks again, but the upgrade was made back in March.

Online my account says I have 10gb contract with 8.7gb remaining - but on the phone it says 4gb with 2.4gb remaining.

So are you saying that I can remove the sim card by a side tray? If yes, then I could do this and carry out the procedure advised by the help centre - it which case I need to locate the tray.

So your online myvodafone is saying 10Gb of data in your tariff.

Where on the phone is it saying 4Gb ?

Is it your myvodafone app or in the phones settings ?

Can you screenshot it please ?

Online vodafone account says 10gb

In settings>connections>data usage on phone it says 4gb

I found the pin, so switched off phone, removed SIM, waited a few minutes, put sim back and switched on phone, but it still says 4gb total available on the phone?

Thank you so much and with you so far.

But how do I increase the data to 10gb on the phone - I have looked but it doesn't seem obvious. Sorry to be a pain.
