Unlocking ...NUC not working

Hi All

Well, after what has seemed like weeks of waiting I finally got my NUC through this morning.

I eagerly input it into my Sony Xperia Z3 only to see the message "Unsuccessful" smattered across my screen.

Undetered I input it again just to be sure I hadnt made any mistakes... Same message again, and again, and again...

So...Im now back to square one...A phone which is locked to Vodafone with no way out.

Anyone else been in a similar situation ?

How did you resolve it ?

Any help gratefully received

Don't try too many times as the phone could hard lock which is about after 10 attempts. 

It that happens it would have to be sent away to be reset. 

Some have said putting a 0 before the Nuc works .

Alternatively call 191 and ask them to escalate this to their nuc department and or ask for the nuc department email address so you can liaise directly with them.

Just tried the 0 in front of NUC code....no joy.

By the way.....

The unlock code I have received is a 16 digit number ?

I assume they all have the same amount of digits, but first thing I thought when it didnt work was..have they missed a digit or added a digit. slip of the finger etc

May I assume your using an activated sim card ?

i.e connects to mobile data on the alternative network.
