VF Smart Platinum 7 not reading sim

I have a Vodafone smart platinum 7 that has stopped reading any sim cards. I've not used it for a while but wanted to move back to it. I have tried a couple of Sims but none work (they work ok in other phones).

Any ideas would be much appreciated otherwise I'll have to go to the Vodafone shop.

It may have developed a software or hardware fault.

I'd agree to visit a Vodafone Highstreet Store.

It will have a 24 month manufacturing warranty. If it's out of that period then they may charge or you could look at home insurance or some bank accounts give cover as a perk of the account. 

Excess fees and terms and conditions will need to be looked at.
