Welcome to Vodafone Community
I have just read that Vodafone are now distancing themselves from Huawei phones for the upcoming 5G rollout.
This does not fill users on 4G with this manufacturers phone with confidence in the upcoming Google debacle and it would be nice to get an official statement from Vodafone on the issues raised instead of all the current cut and past from various media outlets.
Can you please link to where you've read that Vodafone are distancing themselves from Huawei please.
All this is still in its infancy with the Media whipping this up imo.
Huawei have made a statement as well as Google.
Vodafone wouldn't officially comment on the forum about future business decisions and as of yet one seen nothing from.the other networks either.
It's certainly going to be interesting to see how this pans out.
Possibly Huawei handsets being just removed or fazed out from the online shops and Highstreet Stores - maybe.
Current Phone > Samsung Note 10+ 5G _256Gb > Model: SM-N976B.
Samsung One Ui / Pie.
Samsung Gear s3 Frontier Watch.
Vodafone are "pausing" sales on Huawei 5G phones - link, which is a polite way to say they aren't selling them. EE have done the same. They won't come out and say anything too negative about a partner, as they still want to do business with them. They also need to limit what they say so they don't irritate all their current customers.
Once current 4G stocks run out I'd be surprised if they restocked them unless this situation is resolved.
