Vodafone 730 GPS issues / Endomondo / GPS

I have a Vodafone 730.  When I use Endomondo the tracker doesn't always work.  I would go for 40 minute run and distance would be 0.5km.  

But oddly, other times it works and if I listen to music via bluetooth from the phone it seems to work.

I assume it is some sort of power standby issue but what ever I try to do to fix it doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas please?

You have probably seen this link:  Android - Battery Saving Settings 

If you have already tried the suggestions in the link, it may be due to the phone you are using.  If possible try with an alternative phone and see if it makes a difference.

I have and turn the battery optimisation off for Endomondo.

Worked perfercly on my previous Vodafone phone, which is why I am a bit stumped.

That's very strange @gazza37 🤔 Have you checked for any updates to the app? Have you tried deleting and reinstalling it? It's extra peculiar that it seems to work fine sometimes, then not others. Have you contacted Endomondo, or checked there help pages; to see if they can shed any light on this?
