Vodafone smart x9 headphone volume and distortion

The volume coming out of the headfone jack is very quiet and when volume is increased very high the bass becomes distorted and clipped. I have tested this out with many headphones and in ear headphones but they all produce the same results. This is my second x9 that has this problem.  Is there a software problem or a fix for this. I have found that for instance if you go into Spotify and then into the onboard graphic equaliser you can migrate some of the issues by taking the equaliser to reduce the bass however the overall volume is very poor.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated

John

Some phones have a built in safety guard to protect your ears @vasques101uk

For example my Note 9 does.

I can get around this by invoking the developer options but you would need to check if your phone has this option or not.

Hi yes the phone has built in protection .which you can go above. However the sound is really bad.

Thank you for replying.

I was wondering what other x9 owners experience was also.
