Wi-Fi calling lost

Since I updated the software on my Samsung galaxy A3 (2017) yesterday to version 7.0 my Wi-Fi calling has disappeared. Not only is it not working but the button to turn it on on the phone menu has gone! Can anyone help? It is driving me nuts as I have no signal at work and need the phone to communicate.

I'm wondering if you may have to set it up again via the process in > How-do-I-set-up-Wi-Fi-Calling-on-an-Android-phone.

Also a call to customer services just to ensure it's still activated on your account won't harm.

I had the same problem for about 1 year on my s7. I got it fixed today! It seems that the update wipes the wifi calling from the phone and Vodafone do not issue a refresh. What I did was as follows:

1. Go to My Vodafone and remove the wifi calling option.

2. Wait 24 hours (or until the option is no longer showing on My Vodafone).

3. Send text message: CALLING to 97888.

4. When you get the message that wifi calling is enabled, the option should now be on your phone.

Hope this works for you.
