Wi-Fi calling

Why can I not get Wi-Fi calling working on my Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus just because it has not been purchased from Vodafone.

Surely if the service is being paid for and the answer is capable of providing the service Vodafone is just being awkward or belligerent in not enabling it on my phone.

@vicente

It was the case when Vodafone first introduced Calling Over Wifi that the phone had to have been purchased from Vodafone for it had their version of firmware on it. With the iPhone being the only exception.

However,  that's no longer the case with eligible Samsung phones and for people with eligible tariffs.  Vodafone wi-fi-calling - eligible tariffs and phones.
